How do you create a Sandbox environment for testing your payments?

Before creating your application in Production, you must first run your tests in a separate environment called Sandbox. The Sandbox account is for testing only, and should not be confused with your current Easytransac account, which is for Production only.

⚠️ Each environment has its own identifiers and applications.

Step 1 - Create a Sandbox account

  1. Visit https://sandbox.easytransac.com
  2. Click on "Register" (top right)
  3. Fill in the required information (company name, contact details, etc.)
Note: No supporting documents or business descriptions are required: these fields are only present to reflect the Production account and are not subject to any verification.
  4. Confirm your registration
  5. Check your mailbox: you'll receive a message entitled "Welcome to Easytransac", containing your secret code for accessing the test environment.

Step 2 - Creating the Test application in the Sandbox

  1. Log in to your Sandbox account
  2. In the left-hand menu, select E-commerce > Applications > Add an application
  3. Inform :
  • The name of your application (e.g. "Test API")
  • The callback URL
  1. Register your application
  2. The Test application is then created: your public API key and your password (API secret) are displayed.

Please note: The password (secret API) is displayed only once: keep it safe.

Step 3 - Technical integration (creating the application in Production)

Use the API identifiers generated in the Sandbox to perform your integration tests according to our technical documentation: https: //www.easytransac.com/fr/documentation

Once your tests have been completed and validated in the Sandbox, you can create your Production application directly from your existing Easytransac account, reproducing the same configuration (application name, notification URL, etc.).

Reminder:

  • Sandbox and Production are two completely independent environments;
  • Identifiers, API keys and transactions are not shared between the two.
